Looking for Lenny

IMDB
Poster

Lenny Bruce was one of the key anti-Establishment figures of 1960s America, who constantly pushed the boundaries with his numerous brushes with the law and his convictions for obscenity in 1964. This Jewish-American stand-up comedian's outrageous, taboo-breaking humour helped liberalise the American Entertainment Industry during the tumultuous 1960s and he has become an inspiration for many of today's comedians. His battles with authority and with his own demons that ultimately led to this untimely death in 1964 were immortalized in the Oscar-nominated Bob Fosse film 'Lenny' starring Dustin Hoffman. Now is the time to find the man behind the myth.
