IMDB
Poster

To Britain’s criminal underworld, Freddie Foreman is The Godfather and his name instils more fear than any other. Rightly or wrongly, he has been attached to almost every unsolved gangland murder in London over the last 50 years and remains one of the most iconic and well respected men of his generation. Born Frederick Foreman in 1932, young Fred was on trial for his first crime at just 16 years of age which paved the way towards a prolific criminal career. He went on to become a notorious crime boss who ruthlessly upheld the underworld code of conduct, whatever it took. In this documentary special, Foreman talks about how his war-time childhood moulded him into the man he became and reveals the audacious details of the heists, the double crossings, the shootouts, the murders, the betrayals and ultimately, what has made him Gangster No. 1.
